Hire Times: If the boats are not booked for the day you depart or return, we are happy to organize an early departure and late return at no extra cost. Please read conditions below carefully before booking

 

Check-in & Check-out times explained below

Checkin times start from 9 am

We like to stagger the boats as the jetty can get full, 9am, 10am, 11am ,12pm ( first in best dressed)

Some check-in times will be from 12pm if a boat is returning the same day

Checkout times are 10am

NOTE – Any deposits paid will be transferred to other dates within 2 years if any government policy prevents you from arriving for your hire, even with no notice.

  • Equipped with Inverter Suitable for Recharging Mobile Phones, Laptops and Cameras. (Not Suitable for Hair Drying Equipment, Cooking Appliances, 12v fridges Or Coffee Machines.)
  • Electric Anchoring System
  • A CPAP machine can be used on the boats, 1 per boat
  • We sell 5kg bags of ice at our shop for $5 and also tweed bait
  • Smart TV so you can hotspot your phone

 NOTES

 The boats come will a polycraft tender and oars, to add a motor is $20 per night ( this is important if you plan to go to sure for meals ect)

If you have a boat and would like to bring it please ensure it is under 4.5m long and you bring a minimum of x2 fenders and a 6 m floating tow rope. Unfortunately not for Lady Brooklyn-you can only use our tender provided sorry

Any damages to the boat from your boat will occur a fee.

SUPS- available to hire, if you bring your own please ensure they are not fiberglass SUPS due to damages occurring to boats.

 

Important note regarding Linen- We provide bottom sheet/ pillows and cases, you will need to bring your own sheet and blanket.

Here’s what you’ll enjoy

All our houseboats come with…

No licence required

There is no boating licence required as our houseboats do not exceed 10 knots. We brief you with a short safety DVD in our shop and then provide a full briefing on board the vessel.

Safety GPS tracking

Our vessels are fitted with back to base GPS tracking as a safety precaution.

Mobile phone charger

All vessels are equipped with USB ports and an inverter suitable for recharging mobile phones, laptops and cameras.

Sound systems

All our houseboats are fitted with CD sound systems and WIFI

Complimentary dinghy

Our vessels come with a complimentary dinghy with oars that you tow behind. This allows you to access the shore or jetties. Contact us if you want to hire an outoboard motor.

Bathrooms

All our vessels have flush toilet systems with holding tanks on board. No effluent goes into the lake.

Children

The boats are great fun for families and children. We provide lifejackets for your children (please call us to discuss your child’s age) to wear at all times whilst on the boats to ensure they are always safe.

Secure car parking

There is secure car parking in our sealed car park which is locked at night. We provide 2 carparks per boat (strictly), there is also ample street parking in close proximity of the boats.
